Been Awhile

The last year has been hectic. I had to get a hip replacement and the recovery has taken a long time. i even moved from Florida to Idaho and am now back to Florida. However, I feel like I am more than ready to get back on the literal drawing board. here are a few pieces I have done since then. I have found great love for the ballpoint pen. I only need to get a better scanner which is going to be soon.

So I've moved to Idaho and been working on some freelance since I got here. these are some last pieces from last semester. The logo is one I designed for a fictional band in a story.

The Frosty Snail

I have a few more watercolors. I intend on doing some more and fitting these designs into some things for greeting cards, wrapping paper, etc. Probably like a wrapping paper package?

The Book of Silence

Work on my juvenile book for both my children's book class and then eventually the full thing for my thesis is truly getting underway. Here's a preview of some of the spot illustrations. All the spots are done in ink and sometimes with pencil accents.
